Makita 14 mm HSS-Tin Metal Drill Bits, D-65741

Makita HSS-TIN drill. The drill has a diameter of 14 mm with a working length of 108 mm. The total length of the drill is 160 mm.

The drill is ground at an angle of 118 degrees and has a TiN coating. As a result, the drills have a higher toughness, the cutting surfaces are better protected and there is less friction between the drill and the material.

This keeps the drill cooler. The drill is provided with a holder with 3 rounded surfaces. This provides more grip and reduces drill slippage compared to a drill with a cylindrical shank.
