Miranda HSS Square & round toolbits are in blank form to cover many applications with one tools. Our special heat treatment provides higher tool life. Multiple re-grinding allows usage of total tool life. Most Suitable for copy turning. Ideal solution for general lathe work & traub machine. A tool bit is a non-rotary cutting tool used in metal lathes, shapers, and planers. The cutting edge is ground to suit a particular machining operation and may be resharpened or reshaped as needed.

• ZEDD = (HSS with 0% Cobalt) (62-65 HRc)
• 5200 = M42 (HSS with 8% Cobalt) (65-68 HRc)
• S400 = T42 (HSS with 10% Cobalt) (64-67 HRc)
• S500 = T42 with Cryogenic (Ultra Low) Heat Treatment (65-69 HRc)
